Music makes you happy!

This is the motto of the training at Musikverein Freudenberg eV

We strive to convey to young, interested children and adolescents the fun of music, because one of the greatest goals of the music association is the training of young musicians. Today's offspring will be our future. That is why we always strive not only to have fun and enjoyment with music, but also to live the community in the club in many joint rehearsals, lessons, performances and extra-musical activities.

During training, we attach great importance to consistent work with experienced, professional trainers. In order to be able to start here as early as possible, children from the age of 6 start with the melodica training. You will be introduced to the fascination of music at an early stage. The combination of theoretical learning content, the practical exercises on the instrument and the musical and playful elements should enable the children to enter the musical world.

After about 2 years, the children have achieved a basic musical understanding that enables them to study instruments in the music association. You can now take the next step and choose between a variety of instruments. When making the selection, we always try to respond to the wishes of the children and young people, but always strive to maintain a balanced relationship between wooden, wind and percussion instruments for our orchestra. You can choose from the following instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone, French horn, tenor horn, tuba, percussion.

In addition, the Musikverein offers numerous musical training opportunities and courses from the Northern Bavarian Music Association. Among other things, the musicians can use the junior badge, as a preliminary stage, and the young musician's badges: D1 (bronze), D2 (silver), D3 (gold), and the advanced courses for youth leaders, registrars and conductors.

Older young people or adults can also start their training with us at the Musikverein at any time and are very welcome!

In addition to learning an instrument, consideration and mutual support are taught as an important factor in community. Various leisure events, tent camps, excursions, barbecue afternoons and the annual Christmas party ensure varied activities in addition to music.

In order to get a feeling for the interaction in the orchestra in addition to the lessons, there is a junior orchestra that is continued in the youth orchestra of the Musikverein. The young musicians rehearse independently for their own performances. A wide repertoire of traditional brass music, with marches and polkas, to film music and modern rock and pop hits is available.
